My Artistic Mission

In my work, I strive to capture the quiet poetry woven into everyday life. Whether it's the glow of dawn over a familiar shoreline, the nostalgic silhouette of a passing train, or a fleeting moment of connection between loved ones, each painting is an invitation to pause and reflect.

My art is rooted in memory and place—drawing inspiration from the landscapes of my New Jersey home, the enduring romance of vintage locomotives, and the gentle rituals that shape our days.

Through oil and watercolor, I explore the interplay of light, motion, and emotion. Recurring motifs—coastal vistas, lighthouses, and scenes of home—serve as touchstones for stories both personal and universal. My hope is that viewers find echoes of their own experiences in these works, and that each piece offers a moment of stillness, nostalgia, and wonder.

Story & Inspiration

I grew up along the southern New Jersey shoreline, where the meeting of light and water first taught me to see the world in color. Over time, that same sense of atmosphere and nostalgia drew me to subjects like vintage trains, lighthouses, and familiar local landscapes — places where history and emotion meet.

My approach combines classical composition with a modern sensitivity to color, movement, and storytelling. Whether painted in the studio or on location, each piece begins as a memory — an impression of light that invites viewers to pause and connect.

Studio & Process

I work primarily in oil and watercolor, often developing multiple paintings at once to explore shifting atmospheres and times of day. I'm most inspired by early morning and late afternoon light — those fleeting moments when a place feels both familiar and new. My studio practice is grounded in observation and narrative, bridging the distance between memory and motion.
