I am drawn to the historic lighthouses along the New Jersey coast because they connect us to the character, history, and enduring beauty of these familiar shores.
In East Point Lighthouse, I explore that connection through oil paint. The lighthouse's red roof stands against a cloud-filled blue sky, while breaking waves and the green shoreline bring movement and color to the scene. It is my celebration of a landmark that has watched over the Delaware Bay shoreline for generations.
I hope this painting brings a little of New Jersey's coastal heritage into your home and becomes a meaningful part of your collection.
