Exploring the Dunes

There's something special about following a sandy path through the dunes and catching your first glimpse of the ocean. In Exploring the Dunes, I wanted to capture that familiar coastal experience, the breeze moving through the beach grass, the sunlight and shadows crossing the sand, and the inviting blue water just beyond.

The tall dune grasses frame the winding path, leading your eye toward the shoreline. I used the transparent qualities of watercolor to bring together the warm sandy tones, lively greens, and cool blues of the sea and sky.

For anyone who loves beach walks, coastal landscapes, and the natural beauty of the shore, this painting brings a little of that seaside feeling home.

You are purchasing the original watercolor, not a print. Choose unframed or framed to suit your space.
